GMB WebWorks provides this document to give our clients a clear
understanding of the acceptable uses of their hosting account, and
the client's rights and responsibilities.

Monitoring:
GMB WebWorks routinely monitors all accounts for server usage,
including, but not limited to bandwidth, disk space, and cpu load.
We do not routinely monitor the contents of any accounts. However,
we will respond appropriately should we become aware that your
use of our service is in violation of our policy and terms of service.

Illegal Use:
You may not use your account to publish or promote any illegal,
indecent, or objectionable material or viewpoint, or to store such
material. For purposes of this policy, "material" refers to all forms
of communications including narrative descriptions, graphics
(including but not limited to photographs, illustrations, images,
drawings, logos), executable programs, video recordings, and
mp3 audio recordings.
"Illegal" material is defined by law, and self explanatory. If you are
in doubt about whether your content is legal, don't put it on our server!
"Indecent or objectionable" material, as defined by GMB WebWorks,
is any content that promotes hate, violence and/or bigotry,
pornographic material (whether "legal" or not), and content promoting
paganism, wicca, or Satanism.
If a GMB WebWorks account is used to violate this policy, we
prefer to settle the problem amicably, however we do reserve
the right to terminate your service, without notice if need be.
We ourselves are under an agreement with Rackshack, and
an account holder's violation of these terms jeopardizes our
use of the server, as well as the other account holders' use.

SPAM:
Your GMB WebWorks account may not be used to send SPAM (unsolicited email).
We have a zero-tolerance policy on this point. If your account
is used to send spam, the account will be terminated. Further, if
spam is used to promote a site hosted on our server, the hosted account
will be suspended immediately. Suspension may be lifted pending results of
investigation. If you are running an email list of any kind, it is your
responsibility to ensure that the actual owners of the email addresses in your list
have requested to be on that list. Any complaints concerning unsolicited email will
result in your account being suspended. If the complaint is judged to be valid,
your account for the offending domain will be terminated.
Due to spam problems, only one formmail script may be used on this server. If you wish to use a
mail form script, there is a secure one provided in your control panel. Spammers can use vulnerable
mail form scripts on your account to send out mass e-mails, resulting in problems with email deliveries,
and the possibility of the server being shut down by the provider. Use of an unauthorized mail form script
may result in immediate termination of your account.

Responsibility:
You are responsible for any misuse of your account, even if the
inappropriate activity was committed by a friend, family member,
guest or employee. Therefore, you must take steps to ensure
that others do not gain unauthorized access to your account. In
addition, you may not use your account to breach security of
another account or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another
network or server.

Security:
Your login information (username, password) provides access to
your account. You are responsible for keeping it secure. Sharing
your account with others is strictly prohibited. You may host multiple
domains on your account, as long as you are the owner of those domains.

File Backups:
GMB WebWorks does not keep or provide backups of your site files.
You are responsible for making your own backup of your files, scripts,
databases, etc. There is a backup feature in your control panel that
will allow you to create (and subsequently restore) your root website
files, your sql database files, and your email and spam filter settings.
Instructions for the use of this feature can be found at the "Documentation"
link at the bottom of your control panel.

Bandwidth and Disk Usage:
Bandwidth and disk usage approaching the account limits as stated
in the registration form will be brought to the account owner's
attention. GMB WebWorks will monitor each account's bandwidth and
disk usage and notify the owner of the account by email when the account
is close to exceeding the allotted account limits. Every effort will be made
to work out a solution to everyone's satisfaction. GMB WebWorks
reserves the right to make the final decision in resolving such matters.
If our unused bandwidth and/or disc space permit it, the solution will
likely mean an increase in bandwidth and/or disk space. There may be
a modest extra charge per month for the increase.

Payment Terms:
For those sending their payment via postal mail, account payments must be made for six
month's hosting service. You will be sent an email acknowledgment upon our receipt of your
payment. Payments may be made by cashier's check or money order. No personal checks will be
accepted. For those who wish to pay online with a credit card, you can do so
here.
Your credit card will be automatically charged $15.00 every month.

Delinquent Payment:
If you are unable to pay your account by the due date, we require that you notify us
least two days prior to the due date. Your due date is based on the date the account
was activated, unless other arrangements have been made. If your account remains unpaid,
it will be suspended until payment is received.

Hold Harmless:
Your agreement to these terms of service indicate your acknowledgement that the service may, from time
to time, be interrupted for many reasons other than negligence on the part of GMB WebWorks. You agree
to indemnify and hold GMB WebWorks et al., harmless against any claims arising from an interruption of
service, or loss of data.

Miscellaneous Provisions:
You must provide us with, and keep current, valid contact information for yourself. E-mail, telephone and
postal contacts are used, in that order of preference.
Banned Scripts:
Due to the enormous load that some scripts put on the server, there are several scripts that
we will not allow to be run on our server. At this time, they include:
- All CGI-based chat rooms or bulletin boards
- IRC-related software (servers, bots, bouncers, etc.)
