GMB WebWorks is proud to show you some of the websites we have created. Each one was
coded by hand, and each has at least one special interactive feature for visitors. These will
give you an idea of the types of websites we design, and some of the features that are
available for your own website. Please feel free to browse these websites and decide if we
are the design team you want for your own website. All websites are listed here with their
owners' permission.
Girls’ Night Out
This site introduces "Girls’ Night Out", a unique musical duet featuring
the talents of two experienced women musicians. The client wanted to be able to make
most site updates easily, and on her own. Giving her this functionality
required considerable custom script work, both in the "admin" area of the site and on
the public pages. The schedule, photo gallery, repertoire listing (including sound clips),
and links pages are all database-driven, and the client is able to update these pages
through her admin area.
Karen Bentley
The client wanted a very specific color scheme and "look" for her
site to promote her products. Special features include a database-driven seminar
schedule display page, multi-functional database-driven custom admin area enabling
the site owner to make particular site updates, PayPal Website Payments Pro
integration, and a custom PHP/MySQL email newsletter program.
Nuff Sed
One of our personal sites, built to promote a local rock band. Gene
Brott, the bass player, is the "G" in GMB WebWorks. The site inclues a custom
script written by Gene for visitors to leave their comments.
911 Attack Memorial
Another of our personal sites, 911 Attack Memorial is a memorial site
built to pay tribute to the heroes of 911. Special features include a custom "prayer
vigil" where visitors may post their prayers and thoughts. The site owner (me) receives
an email whenever a posting is made. This feature helps control the spam that is sometimes
posted there.
Dallas Hypnosis Institute
Dallas Hypnosis Institute is a website created for a licensed hypnotherapist.
He wanted a simple, no-frills site to promote his services. Special features on
this website include a database-driven F.A.Q. page and contact form. What you don't see
are the php form pages he uses to add, edit, order, or delete the F.A.Q. entries. The "Links"
page is also generated from a database. Links are added by the client through a form and
processed with a php script to add them to the database.
Meg Devlin Irish
This site was originally built to introduce the artist's (then)
latest CD, "Grounded". The site was built in the Web Studio WYSIWYG program
so that the site owner would be able to use her preferred program to do site
updates. Special feature: streaming Flash clips of all the songs.
Swipesy's Web Studio Helpsite
Swipesy's Web Studio Helpsite, as the name suggests, was built to help user's
of the Web Studio WYSIWYG program learn to perform more advanced functions within the program.
It includes tutorials with copy/past code, a custom form generator script, php message board,
and a free form processing service for members.
